North Cornwall is regarded as one of the most beautiful parts of the county
and we are located in its northern heart. Only five minutes drive away is the
fabulous stretch of golden sand and crashing surf of Widemouth Bay (a
favourite with surfers), which also has all amenities including toilets,
snack bar, retaurant and
a shop. A further five minutes drive along the coast road brings you into Bude,
the principal town of the area. Here you will find an abundance of shops and
places to eat, many specialising in locally caught sea food. The town too,
has a fine three mile stretch of beach at low tide.
Of the many varied activities for you to do in the area, you might like the
idea of a fishing trip in one of the local fishing boats; or perhaps to see
the area from a birds eye vantage point in a microlight aircraft from
Davidstow Moor. Bude also has a sports hall, ten-pin bowling and leisure pool should the
weather disappoint. For sports fans there are local facilities for
golfing, putting, squash, tennis, horse riding, coarse fishing and plenty of
breathtaking coastal walks.
